Life at the farm…

We have been living here at the farm since late October and it has been a transition for everyone. It is especially hard on hubby who has a hour and twenty minute ride to and from work. But he still seems to love farm life even with all the problems we’ve had here. Must be his country roots! We have had a tough time here with animals and the vet keeps telling me it is a run of bad luck nothing else, sure hope she is right. I gotta tell you I love the new vet here, I was worried when we moved here because we had such a good relationship with our old vet but Dr. Molesworth is wonderful! She is very patient and kind. I knew she had to be when she told me she had just adopted a teenager! She has a very easy and relaxed way around the animals and that makes me really comfortable.

We are tending our new babies and trying to get the pastures to grow. I can’t wait till everything is green.  My llamas are great, they still don’t know what to make of the little goats, mini horses and donkeys! Well enough about animals!

The kids are all busy doing their own things, the wedding is sneaking up on Tracy & John, who are running themselves ragged between the wedding plans, work, school and redoing the house. Sara is a new mom besides going to school! Whoa, hold on there! Mom to Jack Sparrow , a 9 week old  pom puppy cute as can be. He will be great company for her! She is doing so well training him! Sara loves the farm and the animals and is here whenever she can be. Matt has been settling in here at the farm, he has some new friends here and is job hunting. He wants to move out and get an apartment with a friend when he is able. It has been an adjustment for everyone and this winter has been a rough one, especially for me! I am dieting and trying to take ten years off before the wedding. LOL Wish me luck!
